A longer cycle life means that the battery has a higher cost-effectiveness in long-term use, reducing the frequency and cost of battery replacement.
Self discharge rate: Self discharge rate refers to the speed at which a battery loses its power on its own when not in use. The self discharge rate of lithium-ion batteries is relatively low, generally below 5% per month. The self discharge rate of lead-acid batteries is relatively high, especially traditional lead-acid batteries, which may reach a monthly self discharge rate of 10% -20%. A lower self discharge rate can ensure that the battery can maintain a significant amount of power even after long-term storage.
